Franciscan Hospital for Children and The Travis Roy Foundation Present the 3rd Annual Wiffle Ball Tournament

WHAT: On Saturday, June 22nd, the Travis Roy Foundation and Franciscan Hospital for Children  kick-off the summer with the 3rd Annual Boston WIFFLE Ball Challenge, held at Boston University’s Nickerson Field. Sixteen teams will compete in the event including Suffolk Construction, Cambridge Savings Bank, Appleton Partners,  Cooley Manion Jones, Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, CBIZ Tofias, Krokidas & Bluestein LLP, Mintz Levin, State Street, Goodwin, Procter and many more!

Local celebrities participating in the event include: Senator Scott Brown, Ayla Brown (who will sing the National Anthem at 9:00am), Lenny Clarke, NESN’s Tom Caron, Adam Pellerin, Jamie Erdahl and Jamison Coyle.The first pitch will be thrown at 9:00AM, with the championship game held at approximately 3:00PM. The public is welcome to attend and cheer on their favorite team, snack on baseball-themed treats and meet local celebrities who will be on hand for coaching and announcing.
