Joie Curran CPNP (Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, MA in 2004 with a BA in Biology and Psychology. She then went on to receive her Masters in Nursing, specializing in Pediatrics, graduating in 2012 from Regis College in Weston, MA. While working toward her Nurse Practitioner degree, Joie worked at Franciscan Children’s as a Registered Nurse caring for patients on inpatient Units 2 and 3, the Hyman Novack Medical Day Care program, and as a home care nurse. After graduation, she was excited to join the Outpatient Pediatrics department as a primary care Nurse Practitioner. Joie also spends time working with adolescents as a medical provider for the McLean-Franciscan Inpatient Mental Health Program.
Joie lives outside of Boston with her husband, two active young children, and a Boston Terrier named Piper. She enjoys staying active with her family by taking walks and playing at the playground. Joie has a special interest in caring for newborns and young families along with patients facing social and medical challenges.
