If you’re a new patient or are interested in making an appointment for services in outpatient behavioral health, please contact us at 617-779-1314 or email bhs-admin@franciscanchildrens.org.

In the outpatient setting, we offer assessment and treatment to children, adolescents and their families. We treat a range of emotional and behavioral needs including anxiety, depression, inattention and impulsivity, mood regulation, social skill deficits and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We also treat individuals who present with genetic and developmental disabilities, as well as those with complex health care needs. Our team of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and licensed mental health counselors provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive and evidence-based behavioral health services to each patient.

Individual and Family Therapy

We offer individual and family therapy to address the behavioral health needs of both the child and family. Clinicians specialize in a variety of modalities, ensuring the best fit for each patient and family.

Parent / Caregiver Training

This program educates parents and caregivers about behavioral, developmental and psychiatric disorders. The goal is to equip caregivers with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage their child’s needs.
