Preventive and protective measures to respond to a potential Ebola outbreak are underway at Franciscan Hospital for Children.

Effective immediately, we will be implementing screening procedures upon all visitors entering the building. New signs require all visitors to stop and see a desk attendant before proceeding beyond the lobby.

While we don’t want to unnecessarily concern the public, we recognize that adequate preparation and education are key to preventing the further spread of the disease.  The hospital’s leadership has agreed that this is the appropriate measure to fulfill our mission and provide a safe and secure environment to our patients and students.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.  If you have any questions, you may contact the administrator on call.
