Boston Bruins Alum, Blades and Ice Girls to Visit Franciscan Hospital for Children’s Adaptive Ice Skating Program

**MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY**

WHAT: Join Franciscan Hospital for Children’s Adaptive Skating Program for the last session of the year, where participants will be joined by Bruins alum and Bruins Foundation Executive Director Bob Sweeney, Blades and the Bruins Ice Girls! Participants will have the chance to hit the ice with Blades and the Ice Girls and show off all the skills they have learned throughout the 10-week program.

Adaptive Ice Skating is offered through the hospital for children ages 5-21 with special needs. Physical and occupational therapists supervise all skating sessions, use equipment like skate walkers and sleds, and have helped each child develop or improve his or her skills on the ice.

WHEN: Wednesday, November 18, 2015 | 4 p.m.-5 p.m.
