Adaptive Baseball Camp: Camp sessions run for 2-3 hours/day for one week. We utilize batting Ts and soft balls and focus on basic throwing, catching, batting, and running/wheeling skills.
Session 1: 8:30am-10:00am for kids age 4-11 who require shorter session and additional support
Session 2: 10:30am-10:55am for KENNEDY DAY SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY
Session 3: 11:00am-12:30pm for kids age 12-22 who require shorter session and additional support
Session 4: 1:15pm-4:15pm for kids age 6-20 who can tolerate longer session and more complex group activities
Location: Franciscan Children’s in Brighton – outdoors weather permitting or in our gym
Dates: August 8-12, 2016
Program Staffing: Therapists from Franciscan Children’s direct program activities. Children are paired with college students studying physical therapy, occupational therapy or other related fields so there is a 1:1 or 1:2 child to staff ratio.
Program Costs: $30; funding assistance is available.
