What’s in a name? A lot actually. With the healthcare landscape changing, the number of children with complex medical, mental health and educational needs continues to grow. We have evolved to become far more than a hospital. To reflect how we are growing and evolving, we have made the decision to change our name to better reflect all of the services we provide.

We believe our new name more accurately represents who we are today and where we are going tomorrow. We are now Franciscan Children’s.

At first glance, this change may appear small. But to us, this change stands at the beginning of a transformation that will help us grow, providing the services needed for the children we serve.

In the next few weeks and months, we look forward to bringing more of our rich story to life and sharing our journey with you. Who we have always been and who we will always be is a place where children can reach their fullest potential and live their best life

And we know that the spirit of the children, and the people who care for them is what makes all the difference.

Simply put, Franciscan Children’s is here so every kid can.
