MyChildren’s Patient Portal

The MyChildren’s patient portal provides patients and their families access to health information online at any time and from almost anywhere. With the portal, patients are able to access their visit history, health summary report, lab results, discharge summary, discharge instructions and more.

All of the information in the portal comes from your Franciscan Children’s electronic health record. This ensures that you have access to the most accurate and up-to-date information.

You may give family members, such as parents or healthcare proxies, access to your portal. This will need to be done within the Franciscan Children’s Medical Records Department and requires signed consent from you and/or your family members.

Prior to signing up, you must have provided your email address to the Registration Department at Franciscan Children’s. Please make sure to use the same email during the “Sign Up” process.

Franciscan Children’s patient portal, MyChildren’s, is now powered by MyChart. This new portal provides patients and families with an improved and more accessible portal experience.

Through the MyChildren’s portal, you will have access to new features, including:
• Viewing medical records
• Messaging your care team
• Reviewing educational materials
• Connecting all health records in one place

Patients over 13 will also have the opportunity to have their own patient portal login, so they can privately message members of their care teams. Parents/caregivers will still have access to their child’s health information, including lab reports. Another great feature is that if you currently have a MyChildren’s account with Boston Children’s, you will not need to create a new portal account. All health information from Boston Children’s and Franciscan Children’s will be available regardless of which portal you are logged into.

Paying Bills through MyChildren’s

Using your MyChildren’s patient portal account enables you to complete these actions are more:

  • Make a payment for bills dated after October 1, 2024
  • Set up a payment plan
  • Manage your payment method (bank account, credit card)
  • Update your insurance coverage

Guest Pay

Use the guarantor’s last name and account number to make a payment without logging in to the portal. Guest Pay may be used for all bills, regardless of date of service.
