WinterWyman: Devoted Supporters and Friends

At Franciscan Children’s, we are always looking for new ways to engage our patients, students, and their families in order to create a fun and welcoming environment for all throughout their time with us. We are incredibly lucky to have generous volunteers and friends, like the employees of WinterWyman, who fund and support these unique endeavors that not only impact our patient’s day, but create lifelong memories they never forget.

Throughout the year, WinterWyman employees are a welcome sight on campus – both from our staff, who are so appreciative of their generosity and time, and especially from our kids, who know that a fun and exciting event is about to take place. WinterWyman volunteers are involved with our kids at Franciscan Children’s in a variety of ways, and always put a smile on the faces of our patients, students, and their families. “Whether it’s creating art, decorating cookies, playing games, or spending time with the kids, every visit we make to Franciscan Children’s is a special one,” says Bob Boudreau, longtime FC supporter and CEO of WinterWyman.

In the summer months, these volunteers can be seen at our innovative Adaptive Sports Camps, pitching to a child up to bat for the first time, or helping a camper score their first soccer goal. In the fall and winter they are back at Franciscan’s, working on fantastic art projects and making the holiday season special for our students and patients. No matter the time of year, we can always count on our friends at WinterWyman to have a tremendous impact on everyone at Franciscan Children’s.

We are so grateful to WinterWyman for both their volunteerism and incredible generosity in support of our patients, students, and their families. We are surely a better hospital thanks to friends like them.
